NP Associates

NP Associates was started about 20 years ago by young and experienced professionals from the engineering field to build bridges between SUPPLIERS and BUYERS. During this tough and exciting journey, we have grown into a family of around 200 suppliers and buyers in the engineering industry.

LOCATION

The office of NP Associates is located in Sangli (Maharashtra, INDIA). Sangli and its surrounding areas of Kolhapur, Miraj, Belgaum, etc., are engineering hubs of Maharashtra State. These regions house many small, medium, and large industries with world-class facilities in Foundry, Forging, Machining, and more.

Most of these industries receive vital support from large Indian Original Equipment Manufacturers (OE’s) like Mahindra, Tata, and others. These industries also export their engineering goods to Europe, USA, and other countries regularly. NP Associates has many associate suppliers within this region.

ACTIVITIES

NP Associates’ activities span Machining, Casting, and Forging.

• One of our associate machinists has excellent facilities for heavy 3-5 meter long shafts weighing up to 1000 kg. We successfully connected this supplier with a multinational company manufacturing heavy electrical motors for India’s core sector.
• Similarly, we facilitated a collaboration between an American company located in Pune and BHEL—a leading Indian conglomerate manufacturing large equipment for power plants, dams, and defense industries.
• We have conducted numerous successful projects for small and medium industries, ensuring optimal results for both buyers and suppliers.

Currently, we are working with a multi-national company in Mumbai (India). Our services include:

• Providing tooling guidelines.
• Conducting cost analysis.
• Suggesting suitable suppliers as required.
  We receive drawings/3D data for components in ductile iron, steel, or aluminum, and work out details tailored to client requirements.

Additionally, we also provide sales support for certain engineering products in our region, ensuring our activities align with the needs of our clients—buyers or suppliers.

COMMERCIAL CHARGE

Our commercial charges are structured in two stages:

1. Retaining Charge – Covers initial expenses incurred by us for our customers.
2. Recurring Charge – An agreed percentile or per-component charge on the basic invoice value. This covers expenses related to follow-ups, monitoring, periodic visits, and other services.

Both charges are mutually agreed upon during contract signing and are payable by the primary customer retaining us.
